UpRight platform manufacturers are global access platform production company that has done much for the industry. UpRight found Wallace Johnson, created the aluminum scaffold towers that are now an industry standard and created the markets for the aerial work platforms. Mr Johnson came from Berkeley California as a gifted mechanical engineer and first became involved with access equipment in 1946 while attempting to paint his house. His house sat on uneven ground and he could not find scaffolding that could cope with this, so he designed his own aluminum scaffold tower with adjustable legs. Realizing he could commercially market his invention he founded UpRight Scaffolds.
UpRight was also produced the first mobile aerial scissor platform in 1972. The worlds first scissor mobile platform became their biggest seller, outstripping the scaffolding.

Now UpRight platforms produce a full range of access platforms which are sold in almost every country around the globe and are supported by a network of more than 140 independent dealers and distributors. UpRight produce a range of work platforms, they offer trailer mounts, push around, vertical masts, boom lifts, scissor lifts, as well as articulating booms, telescopic/jib booms and rough terrain scissors.
